Weir Pool back to normal by end of week

Work is underway to re-raise the Wentworth Weir Pool.

The level was partially lowered to help Lower Darling River flows into the Murray and dilute water quality impacts after being released from Lake Wetherell.

However Lower Murray Water says it should be completed by the end of the week, but river users are being reminded to be aware of the changing river conditions.

Wentworth’s Weir Pool should be back at its full supply level by the end of the week.
