Today is the official opening of the new Wentworth Conference Room.
Wentworth Shire Council has extended an invitation to the community to attend the opening of the new centre located in the Wentworth Visitor Centre.
Sussan Ley Member for Farrer and Deputy Leader of the Opposition will officiate the opening.
The proceedings begin this afternoon at 4:00pm, Wentworth Visitor Centre, 61 Darling Street.
The facility was funded through the Federal Governments Murray Darling Basin Economic Development Program.

Meanwhile, The Member for Farrer will also be at the Pooncarie-Menindee Road Upgrade community opening, held today.
She will be joined by the community and Jenny Aitchison MP, Minister for Regional Transport and Roads.
The $9.2 million project, jointly funded by the Australian Government and NSW Government under the Growing Local Economies Fund, has delivered 87.5 kilometres of bitumen sealing, providing a safer, faster, and more reliable journey for motorists.
That event will be held this morning from 11:30am at the Pooncarie Town Hall, Tarcoola Street.
