Man charged over Victorian crime spree
A man has been charged after allegedly going on a burglary, stabbing and carjacking spree across Victoria.
The 26-year-old is accused of stealing, stabbing and carjacking his way through the Melbourne suburbs of Carlton North, Brunswick and Edithvale, before being involved in a crash near Ararat and eventually being arrested at Gerang Gerung on Saturday afternoon, police said.
He has been remanded in custody to appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Sunday, charged with offences including armed robbery, motor vehicle theft, intentionally causing injury, and aggravated burglary and carjacking.
