$130 million for Murray Darling

Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia will share in nearly $130-MILLION in federal funding aimed at improving water infastructure in Murray-Darling Basin communities.

The federal government says it's a significant priority for the country and the program will fund pre-construction activities for projects that reduce the need to recover water from irrigators.

There are environment projects at nine sites along the Murray in Victoria being developed to return more natural flows.
