Calls to invest more in Regional Victoria

Mildura is one of ten regional cities calling for a fairer share of Victorian Government funding.

Regional Cities Victoria has launched its State Election Platform, outlining priorities including five-hundred MILLION dollars for infrastructure, while also ensuring a fifth of public agency and government investments are regionally-based.

Mildura Council says now is the time for regional centres to stand up and say they need funding.

Priorities include setting up a new Regional Living Fund to invest in infrastructure and open spaces.
