The second round of the Aboriginal Health Practitioner Fluoride Varnish Program is now open for expressions of interest.
The aim is to provide dental healthcare for Aboriginal kids closer to home.
The first accredited practitioners were from organisations including Mallee District Aboriginal Services in Mildura and Swan Hill.

The Victorian Government says providing fluoride treatment reduces the risk of tooth decay in kids by up to 40 per cent.
