Tipping At Restaurants
On Friday night I was invited out for tea at one of our beautiful restaurants.
The meal was amazing, drinks reasonably priced and then came the bill. I thought OK, I don't mind paying for what was mine obviously, but do we tip the staff? For this I said to myself "sure why not", so I left an extra $20 on the table, with a note saying thank you for a great night.
It seems Australian's are really bad when it comes to tipping while in America it comes with the territory which in some restaurants paying up to 25% of your bill on top, trust me - I remember it well.
Do you tip if you go out to a restaurant?
